In a remarkable appearance Wednesday, Rudy Giuliani said Donald Trump had indeed repaid the money used to buy Stormy Daniels’ silence about their affair, and that Trump had indeed fired then-FBI Director James Comey because Comey wouldn’t tell Trump that he wasn’t under investigation.
Both statements contradict the story the president himself and his White House have previously offered.
Giuliani’s appearance with Sean Hannity—one of the first by the former U.S. attorney since he joined Trump’s rapidly assembled new legal team, which has promised a tougher response to special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe—left the Fox News host and frequent Trump adviser and enabler openly stunned.
In an appearance stuffed with odd factual errors, like saying no president had ever before been subpoenaed, and sweeping claims about “criminal” Hillary Clinton and “disgraceful liar” and “pervert” James Comey, Giuliani flat out said Trump had paid back the money shelled out to buy the porn star’s silence, and that there was no problem there.

A retainer was issued by Trump to this lawyer on a monthly basis. All totaled, way more than $130,000. There is no story here, just empty innuendos. The press will run with it, get frustrated and try to bring it up in 2020. Most of the voters will just roll their eyes when this subject is brought up.

It was a great interview, the article is spin. It was well worth the listen. Rudy & POTUS descriptions of events dovetail seamlessly. The payment to Daniels was handled by Cohen as part of his job which was to deal with nuisances. The $ spent on obtaining the NDA (non disclosure agreement) were paid by Cohen, and repaid by DJT via retainer & billing from DJT’s personal money, no campaign funds were used.
The details of the nuisances were not disclosed to POTUS. Per Giuliani this is standard operating procedure & Giuliani follows the same procedure with his own clients, in his word’s you don’t both very busy people with every detail you just handle it.
But why lie to begin with? That airplane denial is now Trump’s wagging finger moment.
There is no lie, according to Rudy these details are usually not provided to this level of client. There is no daylight between their stories.
If it was a trust account, then why did Cohen take a second mortgage to pay her?
I remember an interview, ahem, on Howard Stern, where they talked about his germ-phobia. Trump was single at the time, and it was suggested and not denied, that “dates” were medically tested beforehand. I don’t think Trump would have touched Stormy if she had been bathed in bleach, considering she had been bathed in prurience repeatedly for money.

Why not listen to the interview. It is no such thing as a fact. Nondisclosure agreements are to shut down nuisance potentials whether true or just a con artist spinning a tale. DJT would most likely just be billed because the situation was just Cohen doing his job not a special circumstance.

Exactly. Trump hates germs and has an ego. The sexual conquest of a known whore is no conquest at all. Not when you can land dates with and marry an educated supermodel. Trump has to know that the money attracts women, and floozies. I just don’t see it. He doesn’t drink, so they can’t say he was drunk and did it either.
