Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani told The Hill on Wednesday that President Trumps legal team was still several weeks away from determining whether the president would consent to an interview with special counsel Robert Mueller.
Giuliani, who joined the presidents legal team roughly two weeks ago, said the decision would be determined in large part by how objective he and his colleagues perceive Mueller to be.
The more objective [Mueller] is, the more likely we would be willing to cooperate. The less objective, then we would be foolish to do that, he said.

Former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani joined Sean Hannity for the full hour on “Hannity” at 9 PM ET.
A few more: nothing gets recorded, just an informal conversation to check a box.
if you missed Giuliani on Hannity
Saw him on Hannity. He has really slipped. He is not as sharp as he used to be.
“I thought this was all supposed to be wrapped up in a couple of weeks, per Rudys earlier comments.’
yeppers. that’s what rudy claimed when he originally accepted the appointment ...
One must think Rudy is using this as a carrot to get Mueller to be a bit mor eopen about things - with Rosenstein doing everything he can to subvert the Constitutional Oversight of the Congress over the DOJ, we need a Rudy nosing around.
Many here thought Giuliani was a huge mistake.I wasn’t sure one way or the other. Now I am, He was a huge mistake.
What has happened is that we have single handedly once again allowed the hard left to set the agenda. Now, instead of talking about all the good things Trump had done from the Norks to Iran to the economy we will be talking about some whore named Stormy.
We have no political advisors to the President, sure way to lose everything.
I sure hope you are right. Not how I would have played it at all....
Brilliant comment very few get it.
If Trump is forced to testify he should take the Fifth. He has the perfect legitimate reason to take the Fifth, because the intereview is obviously an attempt to trick him into committing “perjury”, by finding some statement which conflicts with someone else’s statement. They have hundreds of hours of interviews with other people. There is no way that 40+ people in hundreds of hours of statements will remember and describe everything exactly the same. They will take ambiguous words about subjective things like state of mind and intent, faulty memories of dates and times and conversations, and they could prosecute any of the 40+ people for perjury (not that they would win but they could charge them). So Trump should take the Fifth so he will not incriminate himself with regard to the crime of perjury. Lois Lerner did this and she walks free as a bird. The only downside is political, but since it is a perjury trap, why not take the political risk? Dems can then say blah blah he took the fifth so there must be collusion, but they can’t prove the collusion so they will be left with perjury as the only option, and Trump hasn’t said a damn thing to them so they lose and he wins in 2020.
