In a tense meeting in early March with the special counsel, President Trump’s lawyers insisted he had no obligation to talk with federal investigators probing Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential campaign.
But special counsel Robert S. Mueller III responded that he had another option if Trump declined: He could issue a subpoena for the president to appear before a grand jury, according to four people familiar with the encounter.
Mueller’s warning — the first time he is known to have mentioned a possible subpoena to Trump’s legal team — spurred a sharp retort from John Dowd, then the president’s lead lawyer.

In my opinion Mueller, Rosenstein, Comey, Strzrok, Paige, Lynch, the Ohrs and other assorted DOJ and FBI coup plotters should be arrested, flown to GTMO, vigorously questioned and tried by military tribunal for their sedition and treason. If they are found guilty they should suffer whatever punishment that is proscribed for traitors.
The questions sound more like a 60 minutes interview. “How did you feel?” “What were you thinking?”
Seems to me Trump's attorneys would demand a clearly declared crime and then contest that all the way to the Supreme Court.
Of course, all of this would be mute if we had an AG worth his salt.
Trump needs to change the playing field. It is abundantly clear that Mueller will never stop until he has Trump’s head. The investigation will go on until the coup plotters find or manufacture whatever they need to cripple or remove the President. How about subjecting Mueller and all of the rest of his inner staff to no knock raids in the middle of the night by military investigators, backed up by military police to seize all of their files and equipment to find the evidence for the coup plot. Then expose them for what they are and end the coup once and for all.
Sessions? Sessions? Sessions?
