Following the alleged Israeli airstrikes in Syria last night, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said his country is more committed than ever to eradicating terrorists from his country.
Meanwhile, an official in an alliance that includes Syria and its regional allies told the New York Times that Iran will likely attack Israel after the Lebanese parliamentary election in May.

For anyone else curious, the election is May 6.
Well,if the mullahs *do* attack it will be interesting to see how that works out for them.My guess is that they all have bomb proof shelters but,OTOH,will be willing to see their citizenry die in “jihad”.
Does it make sense for Iran to attack Israel from Lebanon? Even after the elections?
If Hizbollah gains in the elections then maybe yes but Israel will reduce Lebanon to rubble.
Does it make sense for Iran to attack Israel from Syria? Even after the elections?
If Iran attacks Israel from Syria Israel will force Putin into something he doesn’t want yet.Israel will reduce the Syrian rubble to smaller rubble.
Does it make sense for Iran to attack Israel from outside of the Middle East, as in Argentina? Yes. But then, the Iranians won’t look so good in the news.
I believe the prevailing winds would prevent the radioactivity from the blast over Teheran from reaching the US.
Gog and Magog coming to pass?
“Does it make sense “
The biggest detraction from what would have been a wonderful college experience was the dozens of Iranian “students.” They were all political activists who cheated their way into staying in class. They had nothing westerners would view as reason or logic. They seemed to see the world through an ideological filter totally divorced from reality. Talking to them was like talking to a paranoid schizophrenic. “The CIA controls the Shah’s secret police. The CIA controls the newspapers. The CIA controls the weather.” Yes, those are all direct quotes. You can’t ask a question, does this make sense, when the person you are referring to is, essentially, from the ninth century.
Fortunately, too, you can’t believe anything they say.
The mullah's better be paying attention to what's going on in North Korea as I suspect they're next on PDJT's hit list.
Propaganda pure and simple is what we read here. Its wishful thinking about a hoped for outcome.
Iran has kept its powder dry while Israel hits Iranian targets repeatedly in Syria.
Israel hopes to incite Iran to retaliation and violence but I doubt the Iranians will take the bait.
Israel wants to bait Iran so it can play the victim card and perhaps launch a massive war in retaliation.
This made me smile. Thanks!

Not sure that makes a lot of sense, though an attack presumably from Lebanon will shake up the region.
Me, too. That was a hoot!
Why? What precipitated such an attack
How did Israel capture all those documents anyway?
Bomb, bomb, bomb,
bomb, bomb Iran
Bomb, bomb, bomb,
bomb, bomb Iran

(Speaking of Beach...Iran ‘s largest...and only, export may soon become glass)
You should have told them that the CIA didn’t control everything in Iran. The United States yes,but not Iran.
Are you saying, (as has been claimed by many) that the Arabs & Persians are congenital liars?? Oh my gosh!
This has probably been planned by the Iranians for quite some time... then along comes the 2016 election - oops.
