JTA - A group of rabbis is urging a Republican politician from Kansas City to stop comparing abortion to the Holocaust.
The Rabbinical Association of Kansas City wrote a letter to State Sen. Steve Fitzgerald saying his words abuse the memory of the murdered victims of the Nazi regime, the Kansas City Star reported Thursday.
Fitzgerald, who is running to be the Republican nominee for a House seat in Kansas 2nd District, has compared Planned Parenthood to a Nazi concentration camp and brought up infamous Nazi doctor Josef Mengele in a Kansas senate debate over an amendment involving aborted fetal tissue.

More people have been killed by Planned Parenthood than in the Nazi camps.
Okay, the Holocaust was on one level something people did to folks they considered to not be their own kinfolk, to the “other”.
On the same level abortion is always the killing of your closest kin.
So on just that level abortion comes off pretty darn bad.
1. Mass murder of innocents? Check
2. Remorseless death machine to obliterate a portion of mankind by the millions? Check.
3. Foul stench in the nostrils of any God-fearing people? Check.
Why would the rabbis ever, ever not see the similarity?
It’s still genocide.
Objecting to it being referred to up against other forms of genocide, is a silly thing to argue.
I think no less evilly when the subject of the holocaust, and those who perpetrated it comes up.
These people were laughing and having a grand old time while arranging to sell baby parts.
There’s other things involved here too, that haven’t been addressed openly at length.
The whole thing is barbaric.
Dead people don’t matter unless they’re Jewish?
A society that has so cheapened the value of innocent life that abortion can be had on a whim can just as easily again turn against Jewry and again send them to the camps and to death. It’s a shame the rabbi’s don’t want to make that connection!
How many Jews were killed? and how many babies have been killed via abortion?
The Jews had to hide if they could.. to try to escape the Germans... these tiny babies.. the most innocent of all human beings... don’t have any place to hide... their own mothers are killing them...
Holocaust/genocide/infanticide/extermination of the Jews/extermination of babies not wanted... find any difference in what it’s called? Murder.. just plain murder! I read where this woman who works for PP said her job is to slit the throat to keep them from screaming... is that something a sane person can do every day for her job? God help everyone who can go to sleep knowing this is the law of our United States... to kill our own little babies! and give them money to keep on doing what they do!
Good point.
You know, men are ridden pretty dang hard in our society.
Women pretty much get a free pass for the 50 million plus killed fetuses, and that’s just in the U. S. alone.
I think of this each time some broad stands up on a public platform and demands to see how much better women can lead.
The Hebrew midwives who feared God and refused to put into effect Pharoah’s edict that the Hebrew males be killed at birth!
Check and mate!
Well, eleven million died in the Holocaust, but you only ever really hear about the six million that were Jewish. So much so that I feel the average dummy probably thinks the Holocaust’s death toll was six million.
Hitler was an abortionist, who favored killing off any babies who didn’t belong to the Master Race.
That’s virtually the only number I ever hear - “Six million Jews died in the Holocaust!”, no mention ever made of the seven million Gentiles that went up in smoke or into the mass graves.
Lamenting the death of millions of unborn detracts from the outrage of the Holocaust? Apparently atrocity is a zero-sum game to the perpetually aggrieved.
These shortsighted Rabbis can’t see that making such a comparison is one way of “never forgetting.”
It’s a valid comparison.
I’m pretty tired of the sacrosanct position of the Jewish genocide. No other atrocity could ever be as bad. (Never mind if it might be more massive neglect during slavery, than pure genocide.)
It’s much like blacks still complaining about slavery in the US.

Hitler was an amateur at mass murder and spin control compared to the Progressives and their baby murder industry. This group’s concerns would carry more weight with me if it wasn’t for the inconvenient truth that a huge majority of American Jews are Progressives.
