Alfie Evans, the 23-month old toddler at the centre of a High Court legal battle, has died, nearly a week after his life support was withdrawn.
The boy from Merseyside, who had a degenerative brain condition, died at 2:30 BST, his father Tom Evans said.....

It’s incredible that the parents were not allowed to take their child out of claws of that death asylum. The vatican volunteered to help the child and to pay the cost, and they still would not let the child go. This is worse than slavery.

Yep. Besides wanting the peasant population drastically reduced, the doctors surely did not want to be shown up by Italian doctors who may have saved the child’s life. Too embarrassing.
This family was held prisoner in their own country. How Soviet. However, sheep have short memories, and they just want to be taken care of with their “free” health care. Little do they realize it’s not free. The price is their children, their freedom, and their lives. Yet. even realizing this, they will still opt for slavery.
This is MURDER, state sanctioned murder. In addition, food and drink, I read, was withheld for 5 days before this child died. This is torture of a helpless and defenseless child. It is characteristic of an uncivil society. These are the “death panels” mentioned by Sarah Palin for which she was severely criticized and mocked by our media. This is “socialized medicine”. Next will come the elderly and infirmed. Do not doubt it.
And the hospital said “MISSION ACCOMPLISHED”.

The comments permitted at the UK Daily Mail were mostly supportive of the hospital, and that sickens me. They were saying things like, “Well, he’s finally at peace.” Imagine if someone said that to this person after he/she fought to get his/her child medical care which was denied and the child died. Others were saying the parents can have peace now that the mobs of people (presumably those fighting for them) will be gone. That’s a ludicrously arrogant position. This person actually thinks the parents will have peace? Every single day they will live with the what ifs and the grief. It is shocking to me how leftists are okay with taking parental rights away like this. One said the hospital did all it could. Okay? Then let the parents go to Italy and let their hospital try. They said he’d be dead after taken off life support, and he lived 5 days without it. Did he get any food and water or was he dehydrated too? That little boy lived 5 days, so we know he’d be alive right now in Italy. Maybe the doctors there could have helped. Therefore, the people who argued for him to be left to die now offering condolences, saying the child is at peace, and that the parents will have peace are shameful. What a travesty.
The people of the UK should petition to have the jails turned over to the National Health Service. Can you imagine the number of executions...err, withdrawal of life sustaining services that could quickly happen for multiple murderers and terrorists?
