Alfie Evans, the 23-month old toddler at the centre of a High Court legal battle, has died, nearly a week after his life support was withdrawn.
The boy from Merseyside, who had a degenerative brain condition, died at 2:30 BST, his father Tom Evans said.....

The western world has been so fixated on one baby one to a family that to be honest produces nothing except fodder for gossip rags. While at the same time ignoring a baby born to an average husband and wife who work hard to provide nothing more or less than a happy home without need for celebrity.
If the situation was reversed, and Prince William and Kate given birth to a child with the same medical condition as Alfie Evans... would the English courts have ruled that THEIR child must die?

iircc, The child was not born this way. It was complications from an illness some months afterwords.
When the people responsible face the Lord they will cringe and wither, they will hide their faces in shame and cover their ears and eyes, and when God gazes upon them they will melt in shame and when God Judges them, they will know that they have done something terrible.

In a way this reminds me of the Terry Schiavo case.
Come to think of it, I would to. They’ve been acting a bit high and mighty lately. I mean, the life of a sick child being taken against the will of the parents is more worthy of a snub/boycott than some supposed inflammatory remark, or whatever the heck it was they took offense to with president Trump.
The officials involved in this decision now need to spend their days looking over their shoulders wondering if someone will render judgment on them.
Did those NHS ghouls sneak any death inducing meds into little Alfie? Saving face was way more paramount to them than saving Alfie. They showed their true colors for all to see. Enjoy heaven Alfie as the hard hearted arrogants won’t be entering in.
