FULL TITLE: 'I WAITED TO DIE' Brit reveals horror of seeing sister-in-law shot through the heart by ‘white-hating’ gang in South Africa – and says he thought he’d die too
A BRITISH engineer has told how he thought he and his wife were going to die when five armed men attacked his homestead in South Africa and shot his sister-in-law through the heart.
Retired David Thomas, 67, and wife Brenda, 61, and close friend Shaun Vorster, 51, were tackled to the ground and tied up as victim Heila Kilian, 63, died before them from a single shot.
The four were enjoying a BBQ at 10pm in the back garden of their Questus Lighthouse home near Stilbaai, in the Western Cape when suddenly the men in masks and boiler suits pounced.
Father-of-two David was dragged into the darkness and had his head smashed repeatedly against a brick wall and had a gun put to his head and was told by his attackers they “hate whites”.
South African born wife Brenda – who met David when she was working as a school teacher in Dubai and he was working for a US corporation – pretended to be dead and lay on the floor.

Isn’t Obama planning a visit? Not that he needs any pointers.
I have long wanted to visit South Africa.
Cape Town, Jo-burg, Kruger National Park, the Drakensburg Mountains, etc.
But from what I’ve read, it sounds like it’s steadily turning into a hell hole. Even in what could be perceived as a safe or good area, you’d could get robbed and killed for simply walking to an ATM.
To be white if South Africa seems to require 24/7 vigilance - no matter whether a person is a work or home.
It turns out that the white South Africans made a big mistake in handing over power.
Mr. Thomas better shut his mouth and embrace diversity, as he is very close to committing a ‘Thought Crime’. In fact, it might be too late. The Thought Crime Unit has been dispatched.
Isn’t that the same country that is now asking the white folks in the UK to save their economy and country?

You can visit south africa but only with a tour guide who knows their way around the country. You have to stay close to the tour guide. Even then imho its best to travel with a group.
I was in SA this time last year. The government is totally corrupt and the people are very predatory. Might group had a great time but only because we had some very savvy tour guides. We always in the right places at the right times. but the sense of menace in places like Johannesburg and Cape Town was not far away.
We also stayed briefly in Zambia—a place that is overwhelming black african. It was said to be a better run country and the place did not seem to be not nearly so menacing and predatory.
Surrendering power to those who hate you is always a mistake.
I would recommend mass immigration, this week...

Just reading the headline, I figured it was something that happened in the UK and thought that seems about on par for the direction things are headed there. Mildly surprised.
Not shocked at all after reading it was in SA. SA’s death spiral probably can’t be stopped by now.
