North Korea’s mountain nuclear test site has collapsed, putting China and other nearby nations at unprecedented risk of radioactive exposure, two separate groups of Chinese scientists studying the issue have confirmed.
The collapse after five nuclear blasts may be why North Korean leader Kim Jong-un declared on Friday that he would freeze the hermit state’s nuclear and missile tests and shut down the site, one researcher said.

One group of researchers found that the most recent blast tore open a hole in the mountain, which then collapsed upon itself. A second group concluded that the breakdown created a “chimney” that could allow radioactive fallout from the blast zone below to rise into the air.

A helicopter flies around the area until it collapses with monitoring equipment.

A suitcase nuke is the only thing that would collapse a mountain. And the blast is plausably deniable since the mountain tested nukes.

Their website provides good "before vs after" satellite views of the test sites, as well as various support, command, and security areas.

Why not just put less monitoring equipment in the helicopter?
People used to go to Las Vegas and rent top floor rooms just to watch the detonations.
I bet it went something like, “Oh quick look honey the mushroom cloud, get the camera!”.

Might the weapon used on 9/11 have been carefully applied to stop NK nuclear development? If so, Iran might be next.
Has anybody found this in Google Maps? I found some images which matched other depictions of the “Mount Mantap” site, but nothing like this. Google Maps gives you what seems to be a pretty free view of the area.
