The good thing about the rain the past few nights was the owl left the eagles alone. No rain tonight and I just knew that stinker would be back.
The knocked down irises don’t look dead yet and the buds might bloom. They’re just at ground level. There are still plenty of them standing though so it’s good.
And the late-blooming daffodils were a nice surprise. I thought all of them were done for the season.
It’s always fun to get a late-blooming surprise, especially after all the crappy weather y’all have had!
It’s a wonder that poor eagle can ever sleep what with being dive-bombed at random times.
