Carolina gold rice is reputed to be specially yummy. I know about basmati and jasmine flavor varieties. Carolina gold must be at least equally good. And when they have a White House chef do it, even better.
And why not. The Trumps do have class. Nice salute to the French touch without going the whole hog, so to speak, and embarrassing the Macrons with something that’s pseudo-French.
