State Dept. Official Reportedly Passed On Second Trump ‘Dossier’ Written by One of Clinton’s Most Discreditable Supporters
Last week, the Guardian reported the FBI is looking at a second Trump “dossier,” in addition to the one compiled by former British spook Christopher Steele at the behest of the Clinton campaign. The second dossier is allegedly compiled by Cody Shearer. “One source with knowledge of the inquiry said the fact the FBI was still working on [the ‘Shearer dossier’] suggested investigators had taken an aspect of it seriously,” notes the Guardian. “It raises the possibility that parts of the Steele dossier, which has been derided by Trump’s supporters, may have been corroborated by Shearer’s research, or could still be...”
If the Guardian report is accurate, the FBI had better have a very good answer for why it’s looking at information compiled by the likes of Cody Shearer. And if Steele otherwise incorporated Shearer’s information into his own dossier, it raises even more serious questions about what the FBI knew about the reliability and provenance of Steele’s information.

The article talks about this guy Cody Shearer who Nunes mentioned in his appearance on Bartiromos show this weekend. Shearer generated a dossier that predated the GPS dossier and has an eerie resemblance to the GPS dossier. Democrats have been citing the Shearer dossier as corroborating evidence for the GPS dossier. But there is a big problem with that. Shearer is not a former spy like Steele. He had no Russian contacts. Where did he get this info? Unless he can show that he got this info from some authoritative source then there is left only the suspicion that he invented it out of whole cloth. And that fits better with the sleazy Clinton Fixer history that Shearer has more than with the notion that he’s some brilliant researcher who tracked down authoritative info about the relationship between Russia and Trump.
If it turns out that Shearer made this up out of whole cloth then that suggests that the info in the GPS dossier is similarly fake.

Read the rest of the article though. The rest of the article suggests a much more interesting theory: That the GPS dossier was concocted based on the info in Shearers dossier rather than from info provided by the Russians as claimed by Steele.

If I were Horowitz I would be talking to each of Shearer, Steele and Blumenthal and telling them that the first one to flip on the other two gets the deal.

And the crux of problem with the so called dossier’s is they offer no corroboration.....at all
Meanwhile, actual evidence of Clinton wrongdoing is deftly swept under the rug.

Billary, Inc. had more than one channel using an even deeper “author’s work” to help feed the idea, to the deep state, that there were “multiple sources” for THEIR concocted “Trump dossier”.
Unfortunately, Horowitz is an Inspector General in the Justice Department, whose remit includes only job-related misconduct by DoJ/FBI employees. Are appropriate law enforcement and judicial entities investigating the manifold crimes and vast networks of conspirators within government, the DNC, the Clinton Campaign, academia, media, and ranks of free-lance scoundrels? We can only hope — there is no proof anything is being done.

That is not completely true.
Only one part was taken from conversations on 4chan.
There were two other 'dossiers' or 'opposition research findings'. These were requested by Obama (on Hillary) and Hillary (on Obama) back during the 2012 DNC nominations.
The Shearer and GPS 'dossiers' are re-writes of a combination of those two sets of documents.
They didn' make up these things about Trump, they simply borrowed them from the illegal activities of their own party members.
They used a fake dossier to produce an even more fake dossier and charged HRC and the DNC through the nose.
