The Democratic National Committee filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit Friday against the Russian government, the Trump campaign and the WikiLeaks organization alleging a far-reaching conspiracy to disrupt the 2016 campaign and tilt the election to Donald Trump.
The complaint, filed in federal district court in Manhattan, alleges that top Trump campaign officials conspired with the Russian government and its military spy agency to hurt Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and help Trump by hacking the computer networks of the Democratic Party and disseminating stolen material found there.
“During the 2016 presidential campaign, Russia launched an all-out assault on our democracy, and it found a willing and active partner in Donald Trump’s campaign,” DNC Chairman Tom Perez said in a statement.
“This constituted an act of unprecedented treachery: the campaign of a nominee for President of the United States in league with a hostile foreign power to bolster its own chance to win the presidency,” he said.
The case asserts that the Russian hacking campaign — combined with Trump associates’ contacts with Russia and the campaign’s public cheerleading of the hacks — amounted to an illegal conspiracy to interfere in the election that caused serious damage to the Democratic Party.
Senate investigators and prosecutors for special counsel Robert S. Mueller III are still investigating whether Trump associates coordinated with the Russian efforts. Last month, House Intelligence Committee Republicans said they found no evidence that President Trump and his affiliates colluded with Russian officials to sway the election or that the Kremlin sought to help him — a conclusion rejected by the panel’s Democrats.

Going to be great to have all the witnesses called up acknowledging that no one was allowed to investigate anything, check the servers, etc. You know, do all the things computer forensic people are supposed to do. And then call in all these career NSA, CIA computer nerds in to detail what they found out. Should make for an interesting civil trial.

In this case the DNC is suing, and is Hillary the titular head of the DNC? In that case, she, too, will have to testify. Along with all the other corrupt cronies, Podesta et al. Plus all the discovery that will be necessary will be dug up. I can’t believe they would want that.
If that’s the case, Perez could be doing us all a favor. Wouldn’t you love to see Hillary under oath. Maybe we will finally find out just how the whole thing went down
the sole purpose of this meritless lawsuit is to give the leftist fake stream media a hook to keep the words “Trump”, “Russia”, “WikiLeaks” & “collusion” in the same headline for years. they know the mueller investigation is going to no-bill Trump himself very shortly, so they need a replacement hook ...
Shhhhhh.....no one can talk about that. about the fact that nothing was taken. Or why he was out at that hour. Or where he was going. Or why his family wouldn’t let anyone look thru his computer for possible evidence. Or that he may have been alive at some point, after being shot.

This is designed to be an excuse to not answer any questions about the Obama Administration, the DOJ, FBI. NSA, CIA, Clinton Foundation, DNC, hacked emails, FISA warrants, etc......in the upcoming mid term election media spin cycle.
But it will produce the opposite.
A law suit will talk about all that, and not in a good way if President Trump has a good lawyer.

I agree, that’s exactly what they want, is to overturn a democratic election like the dictatorships they adore so much. At this point, after watching the kids against guns walkouts, etc, I wouldn’t be surprised that is exactly what we end up with in this country. Does anyone think the Republicans would stand up against a socialist dictator? Nah, they’d get along. The MSM? You must be joking. Govt Unions? Nope! Welfare bums and broke ass single moms? Never!
