WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Democratic Party filed suit against Russia, President Donald Trump’s campaign and WikiLeaks on Friday, charging that they conspired to disrupt the 2016 U.S. presidential election campaign, a court filing showed.
The party alleges in the federal lawsuit in Manhattan that top Trump campaign officials conspired with the Russian government and its military spy agency to hurt Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and tilt the election to Trump by hacking Democratic Party computers, the filing showed.

Although, common sense is not even taught or exemplified, any more....so, they’ve become mind-numbed to that :(
I am not a lawyer, but I think there is a rule that says if the Trump campaign (or any of the defendants) countersues, then the DNC cannot withdraw their original suit until the “countersuer” agrees to drop the whole thing.
That means this could live as long as the Trump folks keep finding out good stuff during discovery. And the DNC cannot throw in the towel to stop the flow of incriminating discovery.
The DNC isn’t the only nutty one.
