The pilot

In typical fashion, the Washington ComPost left out a key quite that Fix News did cover.
“Shults, a Christian, once said in an interview that sitting in the captain’s chair gave her “the opportunity to witness for Christ on almost every flight.”
The correct expression is “tough”
Sorry Fox News
She sounded like it was just a “walk in the park”... one engine out, passengers hurt and compromised cabin..... Navy Air trained her very well and she was just flat out awesome.
“If you can land a plane in the dark on a pitching carrier deck and catch the third wire, I’ll fly with you any day. “
And there’s that drop dead beautiful Leah Gabrielle on Fox News who is also a former Navy F-18 pilot who had a problem with her A/C and yet got it “back to the boat!” Here’s to these women, and here’s to the US Navy who trained them to have these extraordinary skills and human presence!
Love a woman in uniform.
He’s not the only one
Way to go, Tammie Jo!!!!!
She went to Mid-America Nazarene University on suburban KC.
Hope President Trump invites them to the White House.
He probably will.
Great job by Ms Shults.
Major major kudos to her. Not a bad looker, either. Okay, I’m a douche-bag. Sorry, I just love strong, capable, confident women who don’t give up their femininity to fit in with dykes.
I married one and we are living happily ever-after.
Small world department: my brother in law, also former Navy pilot, knew her. She was an instructor at Miramar. While I strongly disapprove of women in combat, I have to respect the way she handled yesterday’s crisis. My BIL now flies international routes for another carrier.
Small world department, part 2: the woman who was killed on the plane was a friend of my sister’s. Originally from Vermont, but lived in NM for 20 years. Two children, 3rd and 4th grade. Pray for her.
“about a AA dude in the Navy”
Alcoholics Anonymous? (Definitely don’t want)
American Airlines?
I read a discussion the other day about airline pilots don’t really have to do real flying these days. With all the technology people say it doesn’t take a real pilot any more and standards for pilots could be lowered, specifically lowering the level of experience required to be hired.
This pilot did some real flying, and saved many lives. We should not be so quick to think technology is the answer to everything. Skill is still very necessary in many jobs, we need to always keep that in mind, our lives may depend on that reality.
I agree. She deserves to be called a hero.
Not many Fighter Pilots are Not Devout Christians.
You aren’t.
Nothing is sexier than competence and humility in an attractive package - male or female.
