In a series of statements, Hannity said Cohen never represented him "in any matter," though he "occasionally had brief discussions with him about legal questions about which I wanted his input and perspective."
Hannity later added that he "did not ask Michael Cohen to bring this proceeding on my behalf, I have no personal interest in this proceeding, and, in fact, asked that my de minimis discussions with Michael Cohen, which dealt almost exclusively about real estate, not be made a part of this proceeding."
On his radio show that day, Hannity said "I might have handed him 10 bucks" in order to grant attorney-client protection for certain matters.
Fox News said it still backed Hannity despite learning about his dealings with Cohen.
"While Fox News was unaware of Sean Hannity's informal relationship with Michael Cohen and was surprised by the announcement in court yesterday, we have reviewed the matter and spoken to Sean and he continues to have our full support," the cable channel said in a statement.

They’re getting better, a week to support Laura and now only two days after the news to support Sean.
“On his radio show that day, Hannity said “I might have handed him 10 bucks” in order to grant attorney-client protection for certain matters.”
Be careful Sean, unless Cohen reported that $10.00 in income, you are walking Cohen into a tax fraud charge.
I think Sean was making a joke there, lol.
I’m trying to figure out what is wrong with having a professional relationship with Cohen. He’s not a strip club.
“I think Sean was making a joke there, lol.”
Perhaps, but IRS agents lack a sense of humor.

Agree. Meanwhile Comey can use words like “ possible” to escape just a flat yes or know. Or claim he didn’t think to divulge his true knowledge of the origin of dossier. Weasels all, playing the gotcha game when they need to.
friendship with Trump/Cohen in the first degree! punishable by msm media everyday...
“Weasels all, playing the gotcha game when they need to.”
Yup.
That’s the center ring of the three ring circus swamp.
This is like Monty Python and the Holy grail...
- How do you know she is a witch?
- She looks like one.
- Bring her forward.
- I'm not a witch! I'm not a witch !
- But you are dressed as one.
- They dressed me like this.
- No, we didn't.
- And this isn't my nose. It's a false one.
- Well?
- We did do the nose.
- The nose?
- And the hat. But she is a witch !
- Did you dress her up like this?
- No, no!
- Yes. A bit.
- She has got a wart.
- What makes you think she's a witch?
- She turned me into a newt!
- A newt?
- I got better.
- Burn her anyway!
- Quiet! Quiet!
- There are ways of telling whether she is a witch.
- Are there? What are they? Tell us. - Do they hurt?
- Tell me, what do you do with witches?
- Burn them!
- And what do you burn, apart from witches?
- More witches! - Wood!
- So why do witches burn?
- 'Cause they're made of wood?
- Good!
- How do we tell if she is made of wood?
- Build a bridgeout of her.
- But can you not also make bridges out of stone?
- Oh, yeah.
- Does wood sink in water?
- No, it floats. - Throw her into the pond!
- What also floats in water?
- Bread.
- Apples.
- Very small rocks.
- Cider! Great gravy.
- Cherries. Mud.
- Churches.
- Lead.
- A duck!
- Exactly.
- So, logically--
- If she weighs the same as a duck...
- she's made of wood.
- And therefore?
A WITCH!
and Sean said he ‘might’ have done it, no harm no foul...
“Hannity later added that he “did not ask Michael Cohen to bring this proceeding on my behalf,...”
What is “this proceeding” he keeps referring to?
They always say that right before they dump someone. Hope Hannity gets through this.
Probably an attorney client action.
“I think Sean was making a joke there, lol.”
He was.
Nothing is wrong with it, of course. But that doesn't stop the libtards from obsessing over it and leading the news on the half hour with this non-story.
However, it is a very big deal to Michael Cohen's other paying clients who have now seen two of his clients—the RNC official and Hannity—outed in open court and worldwide media with no guarantee more will not follow. Not only does that make those clients want to drop Cohen, if they already haven't, but it sends a warning nuke to any prospective replacements that being Trump's lawyer means having your privileged communications seized and your clients exposed.
This case also highlights the difference between the 1st and 2nd Amendments with the 4th in that 1st and 2nd do not depend on a third party whereas the 4th does. The third party in this case, Judge Kimba Wood, is not the honest broker the Framers envisioned and so the 4th Amendment dies now in her courtroom.
Good.
