I can’t understand why Assad would have launched chemical attacks just when Trump had signaled readiness to leave, and when he only had a few pockets of resistance to control.

So, if he didn’t, what did we bomb? Was it a soccer stadium? A mall? Or a real CBW research center and storage area, intended for the Israelis? Or an aspirin factory, a la Bill Clinton in the Sudan?
