Moscow [Russia], Apr. 15 (ANI): Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov claimed on Saturday that the toxin used to poison former double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia, was BZ toxin, as confirmed by a Swiss laboratory.
"Based on the results of the examination, traces of the toxic chemical BZ and its precursors, related to chemical weapons of the second category in accordance with the Convention on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, were found in the samples. BZ is a nerve agent temporarily disabling a person. The effect is achieved within 30-50 minutes and lasts up to four days," said Lavrov.
However, the most intriguing aspect of his claim remains to be the fact that the toxin has been in the possession of the US and the UK and has never been produced in Russia.
Lavrov further questioned the Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), which is investigating the poisoning incident, for not taking into consideration the information about the BZ nerve agent, which, along with Novichok toxin, was not mentioned in the OPCW's final report.

BZ is produced exclusively in the West and is not known to be lethal, rather it incapacitates the victim by causing a type of paralysis for a number of hours or days depending on the strength of the dose.
This would be consistent with the symptoms exhibited by the Skripals, who originally were found slumped over on a park bench and were thought to have overdosed on fentanyl.
The Russians don’t know how to make it? Don’t beleive that.
A Russian guy gets caught with a stolen car. He gets acquitted at trial for the above logical argument. An American and a Brit used to own the car. And it wasn’t made in Russia. So clearly he’s innocent, right?

So, if this is not Russian disinformation via “South Asia’s Leading Multimedia News Agency”, do they cite independent source FROM the Swiss Lab. No.
So it is essentially NOT about a Swiss Lab report, but a report out of Moscow via a news agency in India.
Its the same logic the British government used to condemn Russia when they claimed to have conclusive proof that ‘novichoks’ were used.
Turn about is fair play, and it looks like the incompetent Tories are being hoisted with their own petard.
Since there was no link in the article to any information on the Swiss report I went & did a search & came up with a Zerohedge article...

The Skripal samples were sent to the Spiez laboratory in Switzerland by the OPCW as part of their investigation.
Spiez is a world renowned biochemical laboratory with impeccable credentials.
Those facts are not in dispute.

Elements of the intelligence community in Great Britain perpetrated this fake attack on the Skripals, perhaps with their cooperation, to either gin up support for the Tory government which is failing miserably in the Brexit negotiations...or to topple it as seems likely now that the truth about the poisoning case is starting to leak out.
Meanwhile, Tony Blair and his competent new "centrist" party are waiting patiently to take the stage...
