Not really. It was the same with Ukraine. Putin’s poodles bark the Kremlin talking points of the day without regard to the actual facts.

In the case of Ukraine some here parroted the Kremlin line that the “uprising” in Crimea was entirely locals. When later Putin handed out medals to the Russians from Moscow who stole the Crimean parliament at gun point we never heard from our local Putinists on the subject. They’d moved on to the new Kremlin talking points without skipping a beat. How pathetic is that?
