If not the U.S., then who?
We either take on the expected and “just” responsibilities, or we and the world will be paying a much higher price later. Without the world’s policeman, the world would have likely experienced a WWIII by now. Luckily, “all” we’ve had are “lesser” regional conflicts (aka: wars), and all of them were not on “friendly” ground.
Lessons of history need to be learned, even when they’re the most awful to learn and digest.
It seems clear lessons of history have not been learned. We have two countries with fanatics developing weapons and one is getting afee pass. I don’t give two sh!!s about syraian or syrians.
