PS, I should have said it was about Mueller, rather than Comey in the other post, but it seems like today is all about Comey, so ...
I think this pardon is a shot across the bow to Mueller and it reminds Mueller that the president can “pardon” anyone including himself.
Scooter Libby is one of many issues I started to have with Bush.
Now, years later — I see I was right to be suspicious. He’s turned out to be rotten.
Well Comey will no doubt take bait and comment on it.
LOL, I should have read the entire thread before posting!
We agree.
And, it’s done.

I was simply comparing him to Boosh II. From my perspective, we have not had, in the entirety of my nearly 78 years on this planet, a president who truly was engaged in doing the right things for our country until we managed to elect President Trump. Even Ronald Reagan is no match for Trump, and the GOPE saddled him with GHWB who was an even bigger globalist a$$hole than his sons. When GHWB followed Reagan, his term was all about undoing everything that Reagan had done. We talk about the Kennedys being a pack of $hit, but the Booshes were every bit as bad. Just glad that “Little Yebbie” is gone for good. Just hope his half-breed kid dies out after his term as State Lands Commissioner in Texas plays out.
Because he didn’t do a damn thing wrong.
Everyone always ignores the rest of what Cheney said during that interview. That pull-quote is out of context.
sends a message to the left - Pardons of those you presently “convict” on false evidence is within my powers. Test me.
” I was wrong, he was an idiot and a globalist, two traits I abhor”
A dry drunk forever recovering. Didn’t pardon some innocent GI’s rotting away in prison either.
I think I read where the powers that be had a hardon for Libby from something he did in the past and this was just a catch-up get even trumped up prosecution.
Good for Trump. To hell with George W. Bush.
YES. Trump has big brass ones.
I think it sends a very strong signal to Mueller and the swamp that President DJT will do what it takes to fight back against the swamp.
Bingo! The dumocrats will wring their hands and cry foul but they got jack. The power to pardon is the president’s alone.
Two words: Richard Armitage.
C/O Colin Bowel.

I think W was smart enough. But he was a "Bush", full of noblesse oblige and not duty to the Constitution
Oliver North next, please.
Libby got Clinton to pardon Marc Rich. It was payback for that.
