The GOP nationally seems to have a problem vetting its candidates. Of course if Greitens was a Democrat, he'd be getting the PoundMeToo Man of the Year Award about now, :)
He WAS a democrat, not long ago. Not long ago at all, his claimed excuse was that he was politically ignorant and realized he should be a Republican
He is very charismatic (in that oily used car salesman sort of way that clearly isn’t good) and that carried him through the GOP primary.
