Well THAT won’t make them happy. It makes it easier to burn coal.

Greenhouse gases = politicized junk science
To: Red Badger
How much energy does it take to push the smoke through the membrane?

Great idea! Wrap up and put away the CO2 and kill all the plants.

Wont be hearing of any of this crap in a couple of years. They’ll be screaming that we need to increase CO2 to stop the global cool down.
I hope it freezes Europe so that it becomes nothing but a Ice Bowl.

Could we stop pretending that the safest, most inert compound commonly found in nature is dangerous?

The “renewables” industry will mount their lobbyists to get this method made illegal.

Very good. They even give an estimate of the cost, compare it to the current method, and say the captured gas can be used for other purposes.
That kind of information is almost never given in these research articles.

I’ve got a whole bunch of those greenhouse-gas-purging devices in my back yard.

At a cost of $40 a ton, I would think even China would be buying that solution. After all, they can barely breathe.

“Gibbs Free Energy always wins in a chemical reaction or separation of constituents in a solution.” How much energy is needed and what do you do with the plant food also known as CO2?

Every ton of coal burnt becomes 3.66 tons of CO2, together with whatever binds it you now have 4 tons of waste to dispose of somehow.
And you have sequestered not only the carbon but 2.66 tons of oxygen as well.
At considerable expense and effort. What a waste.
If released, the carbon dioxide would have become plant matter and oxygen again. A much better use, and perfectly natural too.

PATENT PENDING:
Pipe all coal carbon dioxide through hoses into a nearby green forest. They love CO2.
Approve this at the patent office and I just saved te planet.
