I’m pretty hard pressed to understand how a warrant could validate them taking that video of Trump making comments about women on tape. What did that have to do with this investigation?
It’s not fundamental to the Russian Collusion, or any other crime under investigation to this point.
Them waltzing in and demanding all his attorney’s records pertaining to Trump out of the blue, denies a sitting president any right to privilege concerning his attorney.
Judges seem to be as at fault here as anyone, granting warrants that seem to justify taking anything they like, related the case or not.
Judges today seem to be like that.

I agree, and I think they’re skating on thin ice. I wasn’t aware until this week how much leeway Rosenstein’s order gives Mueller, not sure how I missed it.
Watching this unfold is similar to a movie with multiple story lines all interwoven. It appears to be a story about taking down a duly elected president and as bad as some think the president is, they will be unprepared for the wrath of half the country if they succeed.
I think this is as serious and consequential a period as was the Civil War era for our country. Some days I’m optimistic. This isn’t one of them.
