Survey of Chemical Attacks in Douma on 7th April 2018
Bellingcat ^ | April 11, 2018 | staff

Posted on 04/11/2018 1:09:51 PM PDT by gandalftb

On April 7th 2018 reports began emerging of alleged chemical attacks on the city of Douma, in the rebel held pocket of Eastern Ghouta, Syria.

Reports indicated that a significant number of people, including children, had been killed by these attacks.

This report will assess and verify the open source information regarding these attacks, and draw conclusions from the available evidence.

Based on the available evidence, it is highly likely the 34+ victims killed in the attack on the apartment building near al-Shuhada Square were killed as a result of a gas cylinder filled with what is most likely chlorine gas being dropped from a Hip helicopter originating from Dumayr Airbase.

Did we “rush into war” when we spanked Muammar Gaddafi for the Lockerbie Scotland and European Bar bombings? Really, the drama factor here is beyond Oprah.

[ So we pick and choose which despots we punish? I’m not against action, but only when it is in America’s national interest. We have zero national interest here. When bombing Assad benefits ISIS, you know you’re picking the wrong team. ]

No one on the war hawk side seems to be able to do an objective cost benefit analysis on pissing off Russia and Syria ( who is Fighting ISIS ) vs. Letting Assad finally finish off ISIS and not pissing on Assad’s ally the Russians.

The evidence is suspect, and dubious and the motive for gassing those people doesn’t jive within assad’s interests as he is currently winning against the rebels..

DO NOT GET US INTO ANOTHER STUPID WAR IN THE MIDDLE EAST OVER DUBIOUS CLAIMS OF AN SUPPOSED ATROCITY.

** It really amazes me that the generation on this forum are afraid to fight the necessary battle now in order to prevent future atrocity for their children. But ignorance is bliss... **

Future generations are in more danger from the warmongers, and puppet masters screaming death to anyone whose resources the puppet masters want to gobble upfor their own gain of power, control, and money.

As stated on Fox last night, we have systems that can watch Assads aircraft activity from launch to landing and track them throughout the flight. We know the when and the where. We know the type of weapons used, where they are stored and that it took these aircraft to deliver them. Like I said, start doing your own homework.

Al Qaeda photos
How about this one of a chemical bomb that landed nicely in a bed?
There are galleries showing staged photos some with actors and some using dead bodies. Go on twitter and search White Helmets

This young lady has been covering the war for years. She lays out nicely what happened in Douma, in 3.5 minutes

You described the future Islamic caliphate perfectly

Whether they are are or are not, using chemical weapons is wrong and cannot be ignored. Kill off Assad, then kill of the Islamic terrorists. No problem with that.

So, you knee-jerk reject it, oppose Trump, and instead support Assad and Putin?

I know it wasn't directed at me - but FYI this is what all the douche-holes are saying out of their douche-faces.

The generation on this forum remembers al Qaeda back before they were called the "Free Syrian Army."

I'd be more worried about our so-called "friends" in Syria committing atrocities against my children than Putin or Assad.

Assad made the choice when he again pulled out banned chemical weapons and put them to use. ISIS is still under the gun. They are a separate issue. The fact that they have factions fighting Assad is irrelevant in this case. ISIS will get no safe quarter from this.

Most of those folks, don’t seem to understand that Assad has the rebels on the ropes, why the hell would he gas them and bring America into the conflict on his enemy’s side. The only folks who benefit from that other than ISIS are our “buddies” the Saudis.

And we were 100% justified because those attacks were FROM ONE COUNTRY ON A DIFFERENT COUNTRY and the different countries were our very close allies!!!

Those were direct attacks on people of the western world. The supposed gassings in SYRIA were FROM SYRIA TO SYRIA....

The UN can deal with Assad and the gas, that is THEIR JOB! To deal with human rights etc... NOT OURS... Our only involvement is paying the Bill for the UN which I have enough problems with.

*** Why hasn’t Nikki Haley showed this “evidence” instead of beating her shoe on the table at the UN? ***

The woman is a disgrace. Basha Jaafari is reasoned, calm, staesman like. Her little walk out yesterday was the height of arrogance, rudeness, and further proof she lacks the temperment or self control to be effective as an ambassador.

Do you recognize what this “ battle’ does?
It exonerates the actors who are really perpetrating these acts - or staging psyops to make nations go to war against each other.
That is a terrifying lesson for terror groups to learn.
Anyone with some purchased or simulated chemicals can bring down a government and kill millions.
That is the real future threat facing us.

That plan worked so well in Iraq and Libya. Third time's the charm, I suppose.

You really aren't much of a deep thinker, are you?

Do you really think Assad is that stupid? He’s got his enemy almost totally defeated. Gassing civilians makes zero tactical sense. Why would he invite the world’s wrath and give his enemies an excuse to attack him?

Then lets hope Assad gets the message that he can kill his own people without chemical weapons. If Assad had given up the WMD’s we wouldn’t be having these arguments.

He is worse. There is correspondence showing he has had forewarning of events and not stopped them
