When I traveled regularly on business, I never got on a plane unless I had at least two items that would serve as improvised weapons, if needed.
I wouldn’t have any reasonable expectations of surviving any need to use them, but I didn’t plan to go down easy.

I used to have a Sykes-Fairbairn knife. It may have even been real. It did have the broad arrow stamp tho I guess anyone could put that on one. I bet those are now triple banned.
