thanks for the heads up! this plant is in Knoxville, too close for comfort. I hope the family fries.

“In a federal affidavit, IRS Special Agent Nicholas Worsham said the family-run plant is under criminal investigation for allegedly evading taxes, filing false tax returns and hiring immigrants in the country illegally.”

It’s about time the existing law punishing employers is enforced! I hadn’t thought of additional charges related to not paying payroll taxes - that’s great ALL possible charges are being considered. It’s about time!

That is good news... Maybe some of those black market (?) jobs will start drying up and Americans will be able to find a job at a decent wage...

Californicator judges and DAs become blind and deaf when you try to point out some big time fraud until you document that they have not paid their payroll taxes (California income taxes) for their employees.

About a decade ago we had a big time ponzi scammer cheat a lot of medium and upper income people including his employees.

The DA was just messing around until former employees started showing that their state income taxes were withheld by the crook and never paid. Then, they went after him and nailed him.
