Bear, woods. Yes it is evident. A constitutional republic must be the way to go if they so despise it.
Yes, they do. They want and demand that everyone bow down before them and their god called socialism. Only they know what is good for us. Only they are allowed to command us. Anyone against them is the enemy and must be subjugated or destroyed. And they will used anyone or anything to get their way to total domination of our Country.

We live in a Republic, not a democracy.
By repeating these mindless clichés over and over they have created an army of zombie-like voters who will shuffle off to the polls and dutifully caste their votes for the destruction of our once great nation.

The founders knew democracies died an early death, that’s why they eschewed democracy.
Democracy, to begin with, becomes socialism, or more accurately, communism. So Democrats, by their very nature are communists, and they loath The Republic whose Constitution is designed to prevent the democracy that is in essence, communism’s lead in.

Let’s not forget the mission statement of the Washington Post: “Democracy Dies in Darkness.”
Scratch a liberal and you will find a communist, scratch that communist, you will find a racist.
Where in the Constitution or the Declaration are the words democracy or Democrats used? Please advise.

Want it that badly and much more now than two years ago. Two years ago they thought they had it and and end to opposition with Mrs. Bill in the White House. They really thought they had won the whole ball of wax. Now they are in agony of their Sure Thing going off the rails and are utterly distraught that it was taken from then. Now they are more determined than before to grab it all, so determined that they are scaring some of their heretofore allies and servants who are sidling over to Trump. They are digging frantically the grave for the Republic but they are standing too close to the edge of their work and the rim is crumbling under their weight.
You put it very well. I’ve noticed that more and more things are backfiring on them. They are not able to get away with as much as they did in the past.
The Left cannot survive without lies and deception. Their true colors are becoming more evident.
As a Liberal I mourn the death of Liberalism. The Liberals who lead the Civil Rights struggle and sought to better the lives on the common folk have been strangled and killed by the anti-liberal Leftists. You know, those fascists who claim to oppose “fascism” #RustyIrony! Leftists are totalitarian in their mindset, no one shall challenge the “collective”, and ALL must kneel at its corrupt PeeCee altar.
In further outrage, the Leftists now wrap themselves the label of “Liberal/Progressive” an insult to the original meaning… as they now occupy a position 180 degrees opposite of the now near extinct Liberal. NO ONE shall challenge or even question these (misnamed) “Liberal/Progressives”, without harsh penalties. They demand we assert as TRUE what we know as FALSE and they demand we babble as fools (”gender neutral” pronouns)! Those who do not comply have volleys of “Nazi”, “bigot”, “sexist” and (their fave term) “racist” fired full-auto at any who dare differ from their demanded “collective” thought (always subject to change without notice).
By his recent comments, one wonders is professor Alan Dershowitz is the last surviving “passenger pigeon” of the true Liberal? He is now an enemy of the “collective” and marked for destruction.
Today’s Democrats have no resemblance to JFK or Hubert Humphrey. Starting with George McGovern, the Democratic Party has lurched ever leftward so that Bernie Sanders socialism is now mainstream. While the radical leftists have managed to establish their dominance in those blue areas carried by Hillary, they have gone too far for many normally Democratic areas that were carried by Trump. Trump’s election made liberal heads explode...they can never understand why anyone would reject their socialism unless it was those knuckle dragging gun toting idiots in flyover country that were somehow duped by Russian propaganda. I worry that the GOP by not embracing Trump is opening an opportunity for a Democrat comeback. However, the Democrats have no leader except a doddering socialist and no platform other than Trump hate

Socialism is merely a stepping stone.
We don’t have a democracy. We have a representative republic (if we can keep it) with democratically elected representatives. IOW, we get to choose our leaders. We’ve made lots of bad choices, too.
