A good chunk of them are too stupid to know to eat cook. I regularly find pasta for 69 cents but he could buy the $1 boxes. 2 packages and Ragu goes for about $1.69 to $1.89.

So for about $4.25 (really less) he could make almost a week of pasta that would be 20x better than Spaghetti-O's. But he pops the top and microwaves them, I imagine.
