rst lady Melania Trump is like a shadow president and exercising more power than most people would imagine, according to the author of a new White House tell-all.
In the new book, The Trump White House: Changing the Rules of the Game by former Washington Post reporter Ronald Kessler, he says Trump’s third wife is “a very powerful force behind the scenes.”
“She is very smart,” Kessler told Inside Edition. “She actually sits in on meetings, she summarizes what others have said and then she comes up with her own strategy. She will disagree with Trump.”
He says she also rules the private residence of the White House with an iron hand.
“Obviously, Trump doesn’t listen to her all the time,” Kessler said. “She tries to get him to stop tweeting and of course he ignores that.”
The book makes the case that there are actually two Donald Trumps — one intimidating and outspoken, while the other is caring and compassionate.
“The image that he projects is quite different from the real Donald Trump and so, the big surprise is what he is really like behind the scenes when he is not acting,” Kessler said.
While Trump ruthlessly fired people on The Apprentice, he can’t bring himself to say those famous words — “You’re fired!” — in real life.
The latest examples come on the heels of the departures of Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and VA Secretary David Shulkin via Twitter, not in person or over the phone.
“He will let out the word that he wants them fired. But in the end he just can’t bring himself to do it himself, because deep down he is a very compassionate person.”

Don’t believe these Lying Leftist Media outlets that proved themselves during the 2016 campaign to be operatives of the DNC and intentional liars. They are presumed to be lying and we should presume what they publish is a lie. The presumption can only be rebutted with the outlet providing clear and convincing evidence they are not lying.

Our first Lady is intelligent and beautiful both inside and out. You can see it when she visits sick children in the hospital, she is a mother she has a motherly instinct..God Bless her!

If Melania has influence, it’s okay with me. I know her type and she is good for the United States, believe me.

Based on his own website and blurbs from this book and others he’s written, he doesn’t seem to be anti-Trump. I’m thinking NBC cherry-picked for the more negative article above.

Kessler is not a leftist. He’s former SS, CIA, and FBI and has written several books. He exposed the Clintons for the trash that they are.
I haven’t read his latest, but I have to give him the benefit of the doubt, based on the books of his that I have read.
Our Melania loves America. She knows only too well what life without liberty is like. She could teach our current crop of spoiled brats quite a lot about life.
A more unspoiled wealthy woman would be hard to find. She’s been a fully hands on mom to Barron, eschewing nannies.
She is also whip smart, well educated, and extraordinarily kind hearted. The more policy influence our lovely Melania has, the better.
Why is everything the media reports “explosive,” or “unprecedented,” or some other equally exaggerated adjective?

So very true. They can’t afford for President Trump to be successful and they are jealous of our beautiful and intelligent First Lady so they do what they do best......try and diminish them daily. It is getting tiresome and the voters see this for what it is.
Oh gosh Trump listens to his very smart wife....oh yeah and he can be a softie....
