If you are correct, then you have bigger worries.
We will be 1 active shooter away, from a bloody civil war.
Only an insane person can think you can take 300 million guns and nothing bad will happen.
They obviously forgot Lexington and Concord.
Gun owners are not all collectively guilty for the action of a few.
That is the equivalent of saying all blacks are collectively guilty because a black person commits a crime.

They are openly talking about going to gun owners and prying the guns from our cold, dead, hands.
Now logistics messes up most people, but I would be a few hundred bucks that someone has a detailed plan to do just that. We did it in Iraq (poorly) with a much more violent society.
Throw up roadblocks around a small town in Texas and go do to door seizing guns and/or killing gun owners. Do it on live TV and a lot of people will hand them in.
A lot will also go full Mad Max.
