Actor James Woods Calls for National Guard to Stop ‘Alien Hordes’ Set To Invade Southern Border
Biz Pac Review ^ | Tom Tillison | April 2, 2018

Posted on 04/02/2018 1:42:03 PM PDT by ethom

A virtual army of over a thousand Central American migrants are defiantly marching through Mexico toward the U.S. southern border, with little resistance from Mexican authorities, and actor James Woods is especially agitated over the lack of leadership seen from Republicans in Washington.

The illegal migrant horde expects to take advantage of weak U.S. immigration laws once they arrive at the border, and the outspoken conservative actor has a solution: Speaker Paul Ryan “must go.”

Woods went on a Twitter-rant linking to a Fox News segment featuring the head of the border patrol union, Brandon Judd, noting that the caravan is in Mexico illegally and receiving assistance in their trek north.

The invading migrant army is seen below crossing into Mexico from Guatemala, as reported on Twitter:

Judd said some of the migrants are expected to request asylum, while others will likely take advantage of a “catch and release” immigration policy reinstated under President Barack Obama.

Woods tweeted: “There is no hope to stop this invasion until we rid ourselves of EVERY current member of Congress who will not stand up to this.”

All of this to take place while impotent Republican leaders in D.C. look on, as Woods noted with a creative hashtag and a determination that with today’s political leaders, “America is now a nation without borders.”

“These #PeopleWithoutBorders are headed to the right place,” the actor said. “Thanks to #DemocratsWithoutPrinciples and #RepublicansWithoutBalls, America is now a nation without borders as well.”

The movement is organized by a group of volunteers called Pueblos Sin Fronteras, or People Without Borders, as Woods indicated with another hashtag.

Their numbers are a means of protection from authorities who may try to stop them, and from gangs and cartels who often prey on the migrants — and while members of the media are tagging along, there’s little reporting on who may be financing such a large movement.

But make no mistake, Woods sees the onslaught as an invasion of illegal aliens and he is calling for the National Guard to be sent to the border… though it would take an act of Congress to circumvent current law.

Send the National Guard to the border,” he tweeted, “until you can rid Congress of #RepublicansWithoutBalls. We need to elect a Congress that will do something about this #InvasionOfIllegalAliens.”

But Woods seems to know what too many Americans already know, that being that the GOP will do little to stop “this alien horde.”

At least, not until “worthless” Speaker Paul Ryan is replaced.

“It is this simple. @SpeakerRyan must go,” Woods tweeted. “While this alien horde marches toward our southern border, we need to find new leaders. We have approximately two weeks before this invasion. The clock is ticking on Paul Ryan. Do something, you worthless #RepublicansWithoutBalls!

Section 4 of Article IV should be center stage in a couple of large issues today. It is called the “Guarantee Clause,” because its terms require the federal government to make specific provisions to all the states. In only one sentence, this section addresses three separate and important issues affecting every state, and so it is included here verbatim (as well as appended below). “The United States shall guarantee to every State in the Union a Republican form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened), against domestic Violence.

At the time of its writing the Founders were thinking of Great Britain, Spain, French-Canadian, and Indian incursions – yet they knew full well that time would bring new threats. This clause works with Article I, Section 8, clause 15, where Congress is granted the power to call forth the militia to “repel Invasions.” James Madison wrote in Federalist #43 “...protection against invasion is due from every society to the parts composing it...”

It is obvious to anyone willing to observe disinterested fact that the State governments have absolutely, unequivocally, and utterly abrogated its duty to secure our borders against those entering this country illegally. Whether the purpose is “a better life,” “escape from oppression,” or the intention to carry out nefarious attacks against our citizens, states, country, and sovereignty, does not matter. It is the duty of the Federal government to protect the states against invasion. It is also the duty of the states. (It is the duty of Congress to find appropriate ways to address the legitimate desires of non-Americans to come here legally; see Article 1, Section 8, clause 4.) The current administration has even gone to the ridiculous lengths of bringing lawsuit in Federal courts to stop actions taken by states to protect themselves. They also show their utter lack of knowledge of the Constitution by bringing these suits in Federal District Courts, even though the Constitution clearly states in Article III, Section 2, 2nd paragraph that “[i]n all cases... in which a State shall be Party, the supreme Court shall have original Jurisdiction.” Any judge with even the flimsiest understanding of (and respect for) the Constitution should throw such cases out of court and order the states to repel. Any state leaders that do not do so should be removed from office by impeachment, as they have broken their oath to uphold the Constitution (or demonstrated their unfitness to hold office through ignorance of that which they have sworn to uphold).

This leaves us with the issue of states suffering from repeated invasion that the federal government is stopped from addressing through safe heaven actions or complete covering of illegals in cities within their state. Are the states allowed just to sit there and be overrun? NO! Remember, the states retain sovereignty and have the right (and the duty!) to call out their militias to protect themselves. Article 1, Section 10, last clause, states, “[n]o state shall... keep troops... or engage in war, unless actually invaded...” demonstrating very clearly that the states retain the right and ability to call forth their militias to repel invasions. And any state government that refuses to act on the invasion over our/their borders should be impeached and removed. And the federal troops should be sent in.

Why is this policy still in place?

I don’t want to live near these invaders. They are full of hatred.

Don’t let them cross the border.

Remember the Minutemen?

We desperately need them again. I still proudly carry my MM card in my wallet.

Perhaps if we get a collision on the border, Trump will realize that he needs to protect US. Perhaps it will propel him into acting.

The National Guard, Border Patrol, and enforcement of both the border and the laws in the US are exclusively the province of the executive branch of the federal government, not the legislature. They can fund stuff and make new laws, and that’s it as far as their relevance goes. But the hashtags are cute, and it’s good to hear from a conservative in Hollywood.

I agree and the way I see it, we the people must get organized and bypass the useless congress and call upon our state govts to declare war on Mexico. This way we thus give the President the tools he needs go stop this; in fact, one state governor can force the US to act. Our constitution gives each individual state the power to do this. Every citizen, every state in the union is negatively impacted by this invasion, especially the border states.

Daily Mail a good place to start. They have been covering this thing since it started and far better than USA papers.

This op reminds me of a land-based Mariel "boat lift" without the water. Financed by an outfit from San Diego. Who knows who finances them.

Churches providing food/shelter. This is well planned.

I just checked James Woods’ filmography on Wiki.

If accurate, his political views (and perhaps his age, now 71, and perhaps a “Me Too” sexual misconduct claim) have had an impact on his job opportunities.

Woods hasn't had a major film part since 2013 (White House Down), and no major TV parts since Ray Donovan (big hit on Showtime) in 2013.

Amusing Wiki quote:

On July 30, 2015, Woods sued a Twitter user for $10 million...after he accused Woods of being a “Cocaine Addict”...On October 21, 2016, attorney Lisa Bloom revealed that the anonymous user had died, to which Woods said he hoped the guy “died in agony.”

itizens could form up on the border to repel them if the government won’t, but you’re almost guaranteed bloodshed if that happens.

POTUS should issue letters of Marque and Reprisal. Hell, a scalp bounty within 10 miles of the border.
