Yes, Jesus was very much a Jew. Read your Bible.
If Jesus was a Jew, why was he condemned to death by the Jewish leaders? Does that make any sense at all? He was condemned as a heretic because he was not preaching Jewish law for salvation, but was preaching blasphemy in the eyes of the Pharisees and the Sadducees and the Jewish high priests.
If Christ was a Jew he would have preached Jewish teachings, not teaching the radical message he was spreading. Jesus was raised Jewish but he was certainly no longer a Jew in adulthood. Not even close. He was infuriating the Jews because he was challenging most of what they believed. Christianity came from this. Christianity could not have arisen if Jesus was a Jew and taught Moses law. He taught a radical new covenant that we now label Christianity. No Jew could have done this.
