Lol! Anyway, now that I know it’s Nights, not Knights, the song will never be the same. Believing it to be Knights the song had a medival/middle-ages quality to me.
Same here. I believe I've thought of it that way too long to change that.
I blame Emerson, Lake & Palmer. Their song Lucky Man, released just three years after NIWS, seemed like a bookend to NIWS and has that same middle-ages quality in my mind. In spite of the fact that the hero was killed by a bullet! lol
