From Revelation 14:11
“And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.”
It’s referring to those who worship the AntiChrist during the soon Tribulation, but apply this along with Revelation 20:11-15 to all who died without Christ or belief in a redemptive Messiah in the OT. It’s hell and it’s FOREVER....

A while back I did a search on “conditional immortality” and this answer at GotQuestions.org surprised me (they have seemed pretty staunch on various topics):

I get the impression this pope doesn’t know much about the Bible. I’m not Catholic but for him to deny Hell is blasphemous!!
A recent Pope feared that his successor would be the Antichrist. Looks like he missed it be a couple of them.
