I am pleased to announce that I intend to nominate highly respected Admiral Ronny L. Jackson, MD, as the new Secretary of Veterans Affairs........In the interim, Hon. Robert Wilkie of DOD will serve as Acting Secretary. I am thankful for Dr. David Shulkins service to our country and to our GREAT VETERANS!
Thanks.
Kinda like the smell of napalm in the morning!!!
Guys with that profile don’t tend to go in at the top of big, entrenched bureaucracies and thrive.
But we can hope this one is somehow different.
If you may need stents then you likely dont
And have faith
A bypass wont have the dye factor and has similar or better effacy
You can do it..it hurts but its not forever
Just saying some folks have advanced heart disease and zero options
No place for stents and not bypass viable
Good luck
Juan Williams needs brain cancer and an affirmative action-educated proctologist to treat it..
Perspective? A sitting prez who speaks of bypassing due process to take guns is enough perspective for me. We have had as much gun control under him as all of Obamas years.
good,
Get rid of ALL obammy holdovers.
Hang em all along the reflecting pond and leave em for the buzzards.
“Plus he was White House doc for the two previous administrations and should know the truth about GWBs septum and Barkys anus.”
You're about the only person out there who thinks Schulkin is still the VA secretary.
McMaster is retiring, and he'll be retiring as a three star. I believe that you have to fill a four star role for a minimum period of time to retire at that rank.
What makes you different?
The stress test shows abnormalities. It won’t be known if stents are needed until they put the dye in you. Then they may discover blockages but not severe enough for stents. So, my kidneys are destroyed for naught. At least that’s how I remember it.
Thanks for the good luck wishes.
Sessions part of the same swamp. Though he would be preferable to Jones in Alabama. Send him back there in 2020.
BTW not your thread to save from highjacking.
St Louis VA Hospital waiting room. No details were given. Many of these recent suicides are related to the 3 month early drop of Pain Meds. Some were not even Weaned off, just cut off. Many ended up bedridden or in wheelchairs as a result. We are still in 2 WARS and war wounds can be a life of PAIN, for a young Vet as well as older Vets with health problems.
This former Marine tried Suing his US Rep Phil Roe, they told him he had to SUE the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT! The VA hospital in this area of TN is horrible, as is the 1 in Memphis.

They really need to read some of the things that we actually got out of that Massive Spending bill. Yes there was some giveaways to the dems, but we got some good stuff too. Some of that Military money will go toward the Wall along with rebuilding our depleted Military. HUD got hit hard.
excellent!
Good things take time. Instant gratification is an impetuous trait.
Oh I get it the arterigram dye...lord Im stupid
Ive had my first EPS cardio cath at 25
Two arteriograms in 04/05
And one last Christmas
I shoulda known what you meant..sorry
Im headed for a retrograde CTO PCI in Chicago in three weeks...you can google CARDIAC CTO PCI ...if you want to really have some fun
Fancy attempt at opening up very old blockage from a bad since birth LAD
My other arteries are non remarkable and I survive however lousy from Gods collaterals around the LAD
if it works and only a few joints do this itll be a major change cause I have a huge chunk of left ventricle waiting to be awakened with oxygenated blood supply ....its hibernating not dead being kept alive by trickling O2 blood getting there from hundreds of little Gods benevolence bypasses
My LAD is almost totally bridged intramuscular which can be a big issue in some cases like mine
I knew something was amiss early 20s forty years ago and been tryin g to stay ahead of it ever since
As for dyes there are contrast medium alternatives ....not quite as good as iodine derivatives but they should suffice for routine blockage determination
I reread your post ......are you saying the VA does arteriograms in out patient facilities
That should be done in a hospital because if they can stent they will do it right then
Simple stem ting is fairly routine these days....as routine as wires in your heart can be
Make sure they use this new platelet inhibitor stents if they can
Youll be fine.....dealing with kidney disease is more of a hassle than routine stents
Hang in there
It does?! LOL. You're watching too much CNN.
