That’s kind of the point of DNRs. The act of resuscitating is very destructive and depending on how long you’re down there can be a lot of permanent damage.My heart did stop about five years ago and it took quite a bit of work to get it going again. There was nothing destructive about my resuscitation, thank you very much.
