Documentary filmmaker and left-wing activist Michael Moore took to Twitter on Monday and shared the one thing he says weve learned since last months horrific mass shooting.
If theres one thing weve learned since Parkland, its that the voting age should be lowered to 16. Other countries do it, we should too.
Moore was among the throng of celebrities who took to social media to shower praise on the thousands of students and activists who hit the streets in Washington, DC, and in other cities across the country and marched in support of gun control.
Id say at least one million people in the streets of DC! Historic! Moore Tweeted on Saturday. This photo doesnt even show the full breadth of it. Thank you Parkland students and kids everywhere. You have made it clear to the adults: Either join us or get out of the way. We are here & we are coming.'
The logic of lowering the legal voting age to 16 has been circulated by several celebrities in recent weeks.
The future belongs to this generation and they fully realize it. Let let them vote. Change voting age to 16, said actress Mia Farrow.
Simpsons writer Mike Scully wrote, Raise gun-buying age to 25 and lower voting age to 16.
Steve King
If you are a teenager & believe you wont be responsible enough to own a gun until 21, why should you vote before 21?
Countries that allow its citizens to vote at 16 include corruption-ridden Brazil and Cuba, which hasnt head a free and open election in more than 50 years.

So, only someone who was in the military should have the right to vote? That is the ONLY way to have skin in the game? So the other 97% are just eaters?
I understand the sentiment. But the numbers dont work.
And we should have donut trees!!
When it comes to voters, the more the merrier is the attitude of the Democrat-Socialist Party.
It can be expanded to anyone who actually serves the community.
Just like the founders wanted only those who own land, we can have as voters those who served also as police, or EMTs, doctors, teachers, elected as dogcatcher, etc.
But the idea was that only those who had been willing to put something on the line, should have the right to decide.
But hey, it is only an opinion. The system we have now seems to work really well, right?
What other countries have a voting age of 16???
then lets lower the age to 16 in which “single” moms can racketeer, errr I mean, receive “child” support for said “kids” from indentured servant, govt.-sponsored jettisoned Dad; which, in most states has gone well past 18 to 21, 24 and beyond.
Just answered my own question;
Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Cuba, Ecuador and Nicaragua.
Two hell holes, three basket cases and one big HuH.
For the most part, today’s 18 year old’s emotional maturity is equivalent to an 8 year old 30 years ago. This is due to:
1. govt sponsored expelling of dad
2. feminazis wussifying and drugging boys
3. extreme leftist propaganda being preached in schools and via media
4. parents splitting up and allying with children as “mini-spouses” instead of parenting and disciplining
Property owners, retirees, veterans, first responders and their spouses only as voters. If you don’t have skin in the game your not to make the rules for those that do.
Any one who pays taxes, is NOT on welfare, a citizen, with voter ID and is not a dependent should be allowed to vote.
There should be a weight limit as well for MM.
What this pervert is really interested in is having the age of consent changed to sixteen.
Make that married people with at least one child.
I’ve never cheered more for diabetes to take hold than in the case of Moore.
Regardless, it's a non-starter. I'm not even sure how serious they are about this, I think it might just be a way to give the gun control activist teens some backhanded praise.
Michael Moore’s breathing should be measured at zero.
Hasn’t he collapsed yet under his own gravity, and formed a black hole?
Where would we be without this bat sh*t loony?
He’s got a place in Left Field all to himself.
Hasnt this schmoo stroked out yet?
