The bill is a FUNDING bill. It is not an order from a judge. A funding bill is FOR authorizing spending money for stated purposes. It can not be a negative order stating not fund some thing. That $1.8 Billion was authorized for border security, and may not be used for anything such as a real wall, because it specifically states what it is for. But the monstrous military spending authorization is for the commander-in-chief to spend as he sees fit.
I understand. That’s great news. So this might actually happen.
One thing nags, me though...
If this is true - if Trump is going to divert some of the military money to build the wall, why did he look like he just ate a crap sandwich during that dismal “signing” ceremony? I would have expected the familiar cheshire cat grin as he explained on live television that he’s signing it - and then exactly what he intended to do. We didn’t see that. Instead, he looked dis-spirited and pissed off.

Seems to me that “Border Security” & “The Wall” go hand in hand. Cannot have one without the other.
