The Trump administration plans this summer to scrap a controversial Obama-era discipline rule forced on schools to close racial gaps in suspensions and arrests but that critics say pressures educators to turn a blind eye to escalating bad behavior.
The federal directive, issued jointly in 2014 by the US departments of Education and Justice, warned public school districts receiving federal funding — including New York City — that they could face investigation and funding cuts if they fail to reduce statistical “disparities” in discipline by race. On average, the administration noted, black students are suspended at three times the rate of their white peers.

The President was given a last minute bill to sign, just before Congress went to break until several days after the first week of next month. Both the House and Senate had very near enough votes for a veto override.
So if the President shut down the government by vetoing at that time, many more voters among the 40 million or so who get their incomes from government would have turned on him.
And Congress would have gotten the needed few votes for that override upon returning to a government that would have been closed for weeks.
So it was an unexpected situation that handed a propaganda coup to the Democrats. And now the feminists and other misfits are here in our discussions, trying to push more voters away from the polls this year. Why?
Because they want a simple majority in the House to impeach the President. They want to prepare both houses to support a Democrat in presidential office in 2020 for a regime of gun control, sodomy and a general pogrom against conservatives.
Democrats will be more loyal and reliable for their leaders. They know the advantage to incrementalism in politics. They take every inch they can get. If they have a majority in both houses and a Democrat president 2020, they’re going to take it all then.

The Broward County “policy” was an agreement among the BC School District, Law enforcement, the Prosecutors, the Courts, and the Judges.
How is the President going to force ultra liberal Broward County local government to change anything? Good luck with that.

Here in NYC, the elimination of discipline in classrooms, and bringing teachers up on fabricated charges ‘cos they DARED to ask a student to put their phone away, stop talking, etc. has resulted in reducing classrooms and halls to cesspools, where the students are in charge. You can imagine how much actual learning is going on while students roam halls, text, watch movies on their cell phones during class, etc. And you can’t say ANYTHING, because then you will be brought up on CHARGES of verbal abuse!
Thank God.
This Obama holder law was what precipitated all the diversion programs and lack of response by police to kids and teens acting out.
Many kids have been killed or injured because of this.
Leftist ObamaHolder, didn’t care, needed to get their equal on.
I hope he also repeals the HUD rules that look at each zip code to see if there is an equitable amount of minorities and if not, fines the area.
