My buddy lives in SE Missouri, and he told me the exact same thing. He said if the New Madrid quake hits, those Mississippi River bridges are coming down one way or the other.
MIssissippi has its share of monsters, too. Jessica Chambers was killed by one of the Mississippi monsters. My daughter attends Ole Miss where recently two drunk coeds stupidly got in a car with thugs from Batesville. One wised up and got out, the other stayed with them and was raped. I live in Desoto County, MS, just south of Memphis. I’m safely in Memphis every day. It’s all about knowing the city. Most of these crimes are black on black and confined to sketchy parts of town those of us who live here know to avoid.
