Democratic Rep. Ted Lieu (Calif.) taunted President Trump on Twitter Friday evening after the president signed a massive $1.3 trillion omnibus spending bill. Trump threatened to veto the bill before ultimately signing it, decrying the bill's lack of funding for his border wall proposal.
Lieu mocked Trump on Friday after the bill's signing, saying that Trump was "rolled" by Republican leaders in Congress who failed to secure a deal with Democrats over border wall funding or a legislative fix for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) recipients.
"Dear @realDonaldTrump: You wimped out. You failed to deliver on your veto threat. Now we in Congress will believe you even less," Lieu tweeted.
"The Republican controlled Congress just rolled you. And they will roll you again. Because when the moment of truth came, you showed great weakness," the California lawmaker added.

You’re dreaming. He asked for specific funding for his wall. He didn’t flyer it. Repeat: They didn’t give him what he specifically requested to build the wall. And they forbade any use of his prototypes.
If we get one terrorist who comes in from Mexico and does something. All of that is moot and it becomes a national security issue. Different rules apply. Also this is an Omnibus bill which Trump can treat with the same regard Obama did.
I’m reserving judgment on this signing today. President Trump is a patriot, and he is not an idiot.

Whether it’s an omnibus bill or not, it doesn’t give him money for a wall. And it prohibits use of his wall prototypes. The sucker still signed it. Oh, right, but “wait till next year!” Sure

Under an executive state of emergency the POTUS can do almost anything.

I don’t believe CNN either. I don’t watch it. But Tucker and Ingraham on Fox I do believe. And they both reported he got rolled - not only no money for a wall, an actual ban on using his wall prototypes

Dang! The one thing I was expecting, from that huge stack of the bill on the table next to him at the podium, was him throwing up all those sheets of paper by the handfuls and saying “This is a YUGE load of crap!”
Sorry friend, we still have a system of law. You can’t conviction a man, no matter who here is of anything with no proof of a crime.
We’ll see what happens. I remember the 100’s of other times the media has reported Trump’s demise. I prefer to wait & watch the results.
Impeachment is a political process, not a legal one. If they get the majority they’re doing it.

Tell that to Mueller. He was quite willing to see four innocent men rot in prison to protect a corrupt FBI witness who actually committed the crime. And Mueller knew.
