CNNs ubiquitous presence in airports -- where it broadcasts from thousands of screens to a captive audience of millions -- is facing new scrutiny after the cable network's hard left turn.

How are airports justifying the idea of bombarding captive viewers with content many of them oppose? Sadly, almost any outlet is fairer now than CNN, Gainor said.

CNN pays airports to leave the network on ***.

The airport version of CNN, which launched back in 1992, airs in roughly 60 of Americas most bustling travel hubs. Trip Savvy recently listed the 25 busiest airports in America and 20 of them are listed as airports participating in CNN Airport. When pitching to advertisers, CNN hypes avid travelers as a valued demographic who often rent cars, stay in lavish hotels and make a comfortable salary.
Pop culture blogger Gary Holmes recently penned a column demanding to have CNN removed from airports. ***
Holmes also pointed out that most travelers have a smartphone and the ability to access news whenever. He pondered, Do we really need a news program to be constantly blaring in the airport at all?
According to Holmes, the business of supplying airport video is just that -- a business, and CNN is likely to remains a dominant provider as long as airports look at the bottom line instead of whats best for the mental health of travelers.

CNN Internationale is to the left of CNN USA.
So what is the solution ?
My dentist offers a choice. I usually go for HGTV or History while in the chair.
CNN makes so many left turns I call it NASCAR.
2. Write the airport manager (again, most politely) asking for removal or options from the CNN anti-American, anti_America activism.

23 Mar: Variety: Pierce Brosnan, CNN’s Van Jones Speak Out About Climate Change at UCLA IoES Gala
By Ariana Brockington
The UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability held its annual gala Thursday night with celebrities, philanthropists, and business leaders to raise funds to protect the environment...
I know for sure we dont have any throw-away species. We dont have any throw-away resources. We dont have any throw-away children or throw away neighborhoods either, Van Jones said. Its all precious. The idea that we have a disposable planet and disposable peoplethat is the sin....
Keely Shaye Brosnan mentioned President Trumps administration. Those of you who support these values have likely noticed the tendency of the current administration to cast anyone who disagrees with their agenda in a light that suggests we are somehow un-American, she said. Well, Im here to say that I believe the environment is a bi-partisan issue.
A highlight of the night included a guitar signed by Ed Sheeran being sold for $6,000 during the events auction...

Why don’t the airports just refuse CNN’s money?
“If I traveled a lot Id carry a universal remote with me and change all the channels myself.”
Good luck with that! There are NO OTHER CHANNELS. CNN owns, by contract with the airports, the right to exclusively broadcast their channel and only theirs.
I vote that all airports air reruns of “Rocky and Bullwinkle”. The show is written to appeal to all age groups, has a sly sense of humor and is just darn funny.
CNNNN is usuall on in the lobby of my office building (US Gov). Whining into the lobby 24 x 7.
The only way CNN can attract their viewers is by force.
They have to pay for them to watch.
Well, that just sucks. I’ve noticed the VA hospital usually has DIY type shows on
“Ive noticed the VA hospital usually has DIY type shows on.”
That’s probably because even CNN does stories about how bad the VA is today.
But for me, when my dad was treated for bone cancer in the 1970’s ( and he died relatively young, at 62 from it), the VA Hospital in Palo Alto, CA was wonderful! When the treatments at Stanford got too costly, he was able to get the same doctors to treat him across town at the VA since he was a WWII Navy Vet.
We need a spray paint brigade.

Speaking of sin, in just two sentences, Mr Jones seems to condemn himself and publicly voice his dishonesty and hypocrisy. Throw away children indeed. A democrat dunce be he.
Is that an app? I didn't know that I had such an thing on my phone.
My LG phone has it built in. There are apps but they don’t work on all TV’s.
I put on whatever channel I want when, for example, waiting at the doctors office. At the Airport sometimes all you can do it turn off the TV that is playing CNN. Not always able to change the channel.
Just need the make of the TV, then scan the list of TV in the LG and most of the time it gets it on the first try.
Veers? This is like suggesting that the Trieste might disappearing below the waves after it has been exploring the Mariana's Trench.
You could go to H.R. and demand a safe space.
