It’s beginning to look like we actually are in the middle of a slow motion coup.

The only real hope is that we can get new blood after the 2018 election.

Given all the other things Trump needs to deal with at this moment, this was a fight he simply could not afford to fight. Both the Republican’s and the Democrats are willing to melt down the country to get rid of Trump and it’s obvious that the the Republicans are more than ready to cede their majorities in both the House and Senate to Democrat control in order to destroy President Trump/

There is simply too much at stake and if things go Trump’s way in the 2018 elections many things are possible, if they don’t - nothing is possible.

The simple reality was that maintaining the status quo was the only option open to Trump and Trumps signing of this budget was tacit recognition of this sad reality we find ourselves in at this point in time.

He knows that he is in the process of destroying the progressives where they live.

They know Trump is engaged in a life or death battle and this was a swamp defensive gambit.

I agree. But good luck trying to convince those tantruming today with those facts.
