POTUS TRUMP SIGNING STATEMENT,
" ...opposition to creating strong military....60 billion increase in defence spending...i`ve signed this omnibus budget bill...forced to have (signed)...i will never sign another bill like this again...no one read it...Obama signed one that was actually larger...democrats added things....get rid of filibuster rule...we wanted DACA in this bill....democrats would not do it....give me line item veto...border security... 1.6 billion... fixing existing walls...short term funding...we`re very disappointed...had to fund our military...not happy with 1.6 billion to start the wall...democrats...did not want DACA in this bill...democrats using you...we had to give up things...waste of money...the way the system works...thank you all very much."

I was watching his eyes to see if he was blinking Morse code like in those Vietnam POW pressers.
How else to explain how a man, who till today never backed down or even flinched, no matter what his enemies threw at him, now rolling over. All of a sudden from threatening to veto it last night, he meekly signed it and then has a press conference explaining it by reading word that didn't seem his own with the demeanor of a whipped man.

Yeah, and for the past thirty years anything worthy of the name "battle" along with the vast majority of the minor skirmishes.
If Trump won't fight them on the budget to get money for the wall, he can't drain the swamp.
There would be no override of a veto in this House of Representatives. If there was, Trump stands tall, the Republicans lose because they should lose for voting in this $1.3 Trillion borrowing plan.
You’d have Democrats voting to override the veto — just to make Trump look bad and expose the disarray in the GOP.
Democrats don’t have enough votes to override a veto in the House.
I didn’t elect McConnell and Ryan.
It's like if your home budget included your heat, water, and food for you and your family, & 300 Maseratis for people you don't know. And not going along with it meant you're homeless, your family starves, and freezes to death. That's how the swamp set up budgeting for us.

Congress has switched incentives in their favor... it's going to take a lot of effort on our part to switch the incentives back to something saner. That said I agree with you... the MSM is afraid - and so is the deep state. AND our President is NOT one of them...

Add the Democrats to all the Republicans who voted for it, and you’d have more than enough votes to override the veto.
That is a very good example of how the swamp does their business. I am not familiar with the Donald. Is that a website or a thread on FR. I would like to check it out as it must be interesting. Thanks.
