I heard that McMaster was picked first because of clandestine military operations. Now that those have been completed, it’s time for tough diplomacy - enter Bolton.

I am very pleased with Trump’s choice of Bolton.
I only wonder why Trump waited this long to appoint Bolton.

My assessment of Bolton is based on his own track record — for better or for worse.
Kosovo's independence was only possible because the U.S. toppled the Milosevic government in Serbia in 1999. Bolton himself was a strong public advocate of this.
I voted for Donald Trump to keep @ssholes like this out of government.

But hiring senior people like Bolton who would have been prime candidates for cabinet posts in a Jeb Bush administration sure doesn't inspire a lot of confidence from me.
