Today chairman Bob Goodlatte sends a formal subpoena to the DOJ (Inspector General Michael Horowitz) for documents regarding the investigation of Hillary Clintons private email server, potential abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, and the FBIs Office of Professional Responsibility recommendation to fire former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.
However, its not the subpoena that should make the news. Pay close attention to the DOJ response:

DoJ on Hse Judiciary Cmte's subpoenas: We are individually reviewing the remaining documents to ensure that they do not include grand jury information, information about ongoing law enforcement actions involving American citizens, or privileged attorney-client communications.
Oh, whats that? Yes, the DOJ has to review the demand for evidence because release of those documents might conflict with ongoing Grand Jury information (evidence). Yes, that means a Grand Jury is impaneled, exactly as we expected.
Yes, that also means there are law enforcement actions currently ongoing as a result of the prosecutor assigned to reviewing the evidence discovered by Inspector General Horowitz.
Are there still those who doubt?

Wishful thinking.
More tea leaf reading. At least Sundance isn’t smoking the Q pipe.

I have cleaned my big popcorn popper and ready to pop me lots of popcorn. Pop, pop, pop. Let’s start the show!!!!!!
That is a given. Footnote 1 clearly references a grand jury. Question is will it be enough to kill the beast?
Trust Session.
BOOM.

The only new grand jury indictments being worked on are on Barron Trump for lying about a missing chocolate chip cookie last Xmas.
Is the sky falling, Chicken Little?
:)
Geez, stop the stonewalling and give the Judiciary Committee the documents they ask for, and they are entitled to receive.
Trump is gearing up for the fight with Mueller and the release of IG report, April / early May.
Also this, NO SPECIAL COUNCIL a Prosecutor, ha ha.
Trust the plan.
SS1
Yep, it’s sure looking like that is so.
But we don’t have DIRECT evidence yet. I suspect if that’s what’s going on, we’ll see indictments immediately after the IG report...
Otherwise it’s likely wishful thinking.
This has been obvious for a long time, as is the utter impotence of Congressional investigations.
When Holder simply ignored their subpoenas, ignored their CONTEMPT citations ... it told us everything we needed to know.
Then there was the pathetic (Trey Gowdy) Benghazi hearings against HRC.
It is actually stupid to respond to their subpoenas if you are a political entity, because you are telling your secrets to both sides! Sessions et. al are EXACTLY RIGHT to keep their secrets away from the Leftist scumbags in Congress and their media hacks.
Perfect!!
Laws are like cobwebs, which may catch small flies, but let wasps and hornets break through
