While he aligns with the Neocons on many position, it’s for different reasons.
For instance: He supported the overthrow of the MB after Mubarak was deposed. He was opposed to the Libya fiasco because they had straightened up. And, he’s not that big of fan of NATO and supports extreme pressure to force them to comply with their obligations...or be abandoned.
He’s really a realist. And a Nationalist, primarily.
I’m sure you’re right. Getting in line and kicking the stupid dog that everyone kicks to prove one point or another is hardly comparable to doing anything that might rattle entities that pose an actual threat.
I’d prefer a pile of rocks to either of them.
