House Republicans spending chief told his colleagues Wednesday that there is no waste in the $1.3 trillion spending bill lawmakers are rushing through Congress this week.
Weve worked to make sure not a dollar is wasted, Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen, New Jersey Republican, said as he defended the massive bill before the House Rules Committee, pushing back against bipartisan frustration from lawmakers who said they couldnt stomach voting on a 2,232-page bill with less than 24 hours time to read it.
But no less than President Trump disagreed with him, taking to Twitter to say he had to waste money on Dem giveaways in the bill in order to get his own military spending increases.

They are used to lying with a straight face.
Why? And then do what?
Great and then what do you want to deal with the reality of this? Dims are more than happy to shut down the government because they know Reps will be blamed. What are the risks? How do we end up getting anything better in the end? What will happen to the military?
So they have gotten rid of waste and spending goes up significantly. Wonder what spending will look like after they go after fraud and abuse.
This idea may have some merit but as it is, we have the government we want.
I don't have a plan and I admit it. is it worth it to not fund the military and shut down the government? I don't know.
