House Republicans spending chief told his colleagues Wednesday that there is no waste in the $1.3 trillion spending bill lawmakers are rushing through Congress this week.
Weve worked to make sure not a dollar is wasted, Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen, New Jersey Republican, said as he defended the massive bill before the House Rules Committee, pushing back against bipartisan frustration from lawmakers who said they couldnt stomach voting on a 2,232-page bill with less than 24 hours time to read it.
But no less than President Trump disagreed with him, taking to Twitter to say he had to waste money on Dem giveaways in the bill in order to get his own military spending increases.

“What are the Republicans doing?”
Teeing it up for a resounding defeat at the midterms and paving the way for President Kamala Harris.

Frelinghuysen recently announced that he's not running for re-election in November.
Unless he's dealing with health issues, this is a bizarre turn of events. Nobody spends a career in Congress and then retires one year after becoming the chairman of the most powerful House committee.

Anybody promoting and voting for it should pay 10 times their normal tax demands, while the rest of us opposing it get to pay a fraction (20%, seems fair).

I wish President Trump would give a speech to the nation and list 10-things he want removed from the spending bill or else he won’t sign it.
And, asking Americans to step forward and let Congress know the nation supports his position.

Exactly what their establishment masters are paying them to do.

What a Relief! I was patiently awaiting the day when congress would FINALLY have removed every last bit of government pig slop in their spending.
Dare I presume there will be parties and bashes and galas tonight in DC, in celebration of this momentous day?

Deep-State strikes again. Paul Ryan retiring at the end of his term is his middle finger to President Trump and the deplorables. I say shut it down Mr. President.

Trump has not read it yet either. He better read it before signing it. I haven't read it either. But, based on the way this is being played, I'm going to bet the vast majority of Trump's base will be thoroughly disenchanted if he does not VETO this bill.
